NJ members> question on Smog check?

I have a few days left to get the Z smogged. It seems to burn a little oil while sitting at Idle for long periods of time. Plan was to run the freeway for 30 mins before inspection to burn this off. It prob is a valve guide or two that is causing the dreaded blue tint.
Will this be an issue at inspection time if I cannot curtail ? Thanks in advance!

They only check emissions. Visible oil smoke could be a cause for rejection.

Change your oil and filter before going for smog.My02.Also,make sure the engine is real hot just before you smog it(let it idle till the fans come on).Hope this helps.
