no i dont they not peaky #'s either real smooth chuck spent more than 40 hrs working them. i have 2.02/ 1.60 manley race flows(you can shave off the reflexsion) some welding was done. they are surfaced to 50 cc equal combustion chambers. the afr 227 start to get me at .500 but are close under

How much did those cost you? If he's that good with LT1 heads I'm surprised no one on here has heard of him before.
I'd take some but 40 hrs of work by a machinist sounds like a lot of money.

Re: Need Info! Trick Flow heads- Flow#s, dyno charts etc?
I have seen 300cfm on a 95-97% max port job on the Trick Flows. High 220's on the exhuast. That's with the right cross section and volume for a 383, never seen a LT1 casting get to the right cross section for a 383 and be worth a **** on them. Most I have seen on a LT1 casting is 275cfm at .500 and up, then again claimed numbers of 280+ never make high 260's on the bench here so it's all relative. Really cfm doesn't mean **** since the min cross section on a LT1 head is so little for any motor over a 355, if you want to make more than Tq on a 383 you have to get a casting that will flow enough and not choke off the system at higher RPM.

There are plenty of guys around that have been porting SBC heads to "know what they are doing". You just have to shop. I can do basic mods and feel comfortable with it, but for all out porting I leave that to a pro.
my local machinist gets very good results on SBC heads, but he's geared more towards circle track, but a few Drag Racers use him as well.
As for the trick flows, I would love to see them make the numbers you guys are talking about. It would be a breath of fresh air to have a set of excellent flowing heads for less than 3500$!!!

That is true Stroker , You really just have to goto their shop and look over their set-up, if they don't have a good flowbench and have no idea what a velocity probe is, I'd pass on em.
