hey guys i think my car is sensing false knock. i have a 94Z A4 freshly built 355 (stock) i can't get it scanned. but i have the LM1 with cat delete. my opti's come and go very quickly. i know opti's go alot but i've had 3 in the past 10 months. my gas milage is real poor. i know gas mileage is poor in cars like this but man this is crazy. it eats gas like nothing. and my performance is real CRAPPY. feels real sluggish. well me and my friend decided to switch out my stock LT1 with his LT4. well it did good in the bottom end and mid range till about 3K. i can't go past 3K cause tranny is slipping pretty bad. i had it on for aobut a day and the gas lasted a little bit longer than usual. has anyone had any trouble with this in the past? need help asap.

i read a few threads where people were claiming the lt4 actually showed more knock at idle and part throttle but less at wot

i dont think that would really affect gas milage, not in a way you would notice at least

what exactly do you mean by it runs crappy, and your trans slipping is not helping your gas milage

how can i put this. it doesn't run like my old engine used to before i put this new one in. before the tranny actually started slipping it felt real weak. not enough power you know. cause me and my bro have the same cars with the same mods. we used to be side by side with my old engine. with this new engine i can't keep up and i throw optis like nothing.
