Re: Need help high idle and a few codes

Well P0171 P0174 came back along with P0420 and P0430. I'm wondering if it's possible that the bad cats are giving the O2s false lean conditions?

I'm going to recheck the fuel pressure today after work. Pervious owner told me the fuel pump was replaced. Only thing I don't know is what kind of pump went in the car.

Either the fuel pressure is way low, or there is air entering the engine that is bypassing the MAF. Could also be faulty O2 sensors, exhaust leaks before the O2 sensors, or injectors that are smaller than what the PCM is programmed for.

When checking for vacuum leaks, did you check the bottom of the injectors where they mount in the intake manifold?
Checked everywhere possible for vacuum leaks. used starter fuild and also stethoscope.

I don't see why the injectors would have been changed but what color should they be for my car?
