Is my Rear End Going?

I get this vibration when I turn a corner from a stop and give it some gas and then stops when I starighten out.... This doesnt happen when Im going straight for a stop just when I turn left or right from a corner.

Any ideas? I changed the rear fluid 2 1/2 months ago with no problems...

Thanks Josh

Re: Is my Rear End Going?

Good question about why it happens. But I don't think your rear end is going out.

Could be your differential. They cause awkward handling out of turns when they start to go bad.

I would check the posi fluid or just put some in, see if that takes care of it, Get the gm posi addative if you can get it, Did you just have it changed?

I could be wrong, but i'd bet a paycheck that it's your posi on it's way out. If i were you i'd either get a new, upgraded one, or rebuild the one you have. Just my $0.02

Mine makes a wonderful grinding noise, but only when I turn right. Then again the Auburn's been in there for 5 years and has had three sets of gears break floating around for awhile till I knew they where broken.
