LT1 engine swap help needed. 1996 z28 motor/trans into 1995 z28

I have a 1995 Camaro z28 with an LT1, and an automatic trans. The motor and trans are bad.

I have a complete drop out: LT1, 4L60e trans, computer, and wiring from a 1996 z28.

I want to put the donor parts from the 1996 z28 INTO the 1995 z28 chassis.

WHAT things do I need to worry about? wiring issues? trans issues? instrument cluster issues, etc. exhaust issues (o2) etc..

As far as exhaust goes, I'd like to use a factory type exhaust: The donor/ 1996 motor has the factory exh. manifolds, and a driver side Cat., while the exhaust currently in the car is: hooker long tubes, no cats, ORY pipe, and a Borla.

I would like to use the donor 1996 harness and PCM if possible because the original 1995 harness and pcm have been retuned / cut

I am trying to get a stock nice running car here, I'm going to sell it when it's done. I am trying to avoid check engine lights.

thanks

injuneer.... almost the exactly the opposite is what is going on. I'm hoping to put 1996 Lt1, trans, computer and wiring INTO a 1995 z28. both cars are auto so there's nothing to worry about there.

I have the option to mix and match this any way, with the electronics, because I have the computers and wiring harnesses from both cars, the 95 and the 96... only thing is that on the 95, the wiring and computer have almost certainly been tampered with because that car is all modded with the procharger etc. so it would be easier if possible to just use the computer and wiring from the donor 1996 car if that will all work fine in the 1995.

I also was planning to ditch the EGR, smog pump, and emissions garbage under the hood, the AIR pipe that runs under and across the motor, if it's easy enough to do. I've done it in my 94 without any adverse affects, but maybe in this situation, it won't be so easy being that the car is going to be a "mix and match" job.

I'm just trying to find the easiest, quickest, and most inexpensive route from A to B.

.

lol, so sorry. It's easy to see, but hard to explain. I'm going to re-write my original post and hopefully it will make more sense.
