LT1 engine swap
I am looking at a used lt1 engine the ad says it is a out of 95 cadillac and it is a lt1. Will this engine bolt right in and have same computer/harness as my 1994 firebird. I know there is a small difference in the harness as I have a 95 harness in there.

Re: LT1 engine swap
The crank hub on the Cadi spaces the belt further out than the F-Body.
You will need to swap the coolant temp sensor from the Pass head to the Drivers side.
The Cadi has 2 knock sensors the F-body only has one. I think the OBD1 uses the same part# so if the drivers knock sensor doesn't interfere with anything just leave it.
The plug wires are different and the accessory brackets are different.
Water pump is different.
I just put a 95 Buick Road Master motor and trans in my T/A with 42,000 miles on it.
It has the stock manifolds stock exhaust system 3:23 gears. the only mods to the car is no cats. Last Wednesday night at test and tune it went 13.87@99
I paid $800.00 for the car $100.00 for a U-haul trailer = $900.00 Sold the car for scrap and got $425.00 for the Buick body.
