Low Res Code

Hey my car is running really rough and barely starts. Recently a blower belt unraveld when I was driving and coulda banged the opti when it was spinning. Now I have a Low res signal from the opti . Is there anything else to check with the Low Res besides knowing the opti is ****? Let me know what you all think! Does the gm opti carry any warrenty, I bought this one about 3 months ago from Sam Taylor? If not where is the cheapest place to get the coil setup?

Re: Low Res Code

Maybe you belt did something to the opti electrical harness. I would check that out. Also reset the computer to remove the code and see if it comes back. The engine will not run if the code 16 is active, so your code is a stored one.

Re: Low Res Code

I completly wiped out the pcm programming and reprogramed it, then got it started and right away it threw the low res code. Like I said its stuttering when you give it gas and falls on its face in the higher rpms. I checked the harness and everything looks up to par.

Re: Low Res Code

Yes I have inspected the opti harness, the plug is cracked that plugs into the opti itself. Where can I get a new harness?
