Looking for help here

I have a 95 z28 with a fresh rebuilt motor and wrecked it I found a 98 z28 with no motor or trans.. mine is a 6spd the 98 is auto.will my motor and tranny swap to the 98?

it certainly is not a "direct" swap. Two completely different engine platforms, wiring and ECU's

With enough time, effort & $ anything is possible

You would be better off finding a 94-96 roller and swap over your drive train

^ word .. but don't let the auto thing fool you. The car will have been designed for a manual as well. There will be knockouts for the clutch hydraulics. ditching the LT1 or finding a 94-97 roller would be best. Not much to make a OBD1 motor run on an OBD2 harness if you found a 96-97.
