Jason Cromer v. GMpartsdirect.com

Just ordered a 1LE elbow and a A.I.R. pump check valve (P/N 22048212 if anyone needs it) from Jason Cromer. total + shipping was $71.00. Same items plus shipping from GMpartsdirect.com would be $75.46. I was hoping for a little more of a savings. But, I guess I shouldn't complain. A savings of $4.46 is better than nothing. Does anybody know what the difference in shipping time between the two is?

I think the 4 bucks is a good savings. Since gm parts ditect should have less operating costs the dont taqke phone calls. I think jason ships better.

GMPartsDirect will rape you on shipping.

Yeah, they are both great places to order from.

Shipping is what hurts the prices at www.gmpartsdirect.com but it's still a good deal.

If you order a bunch of stuff from gmpartsdirect the shipping can get out of hand and it's worth calling Jason.

If something goes wrong with your order from Jason, you have someone you can actually talk to vice sending an email and hoping for the best.. GMPD.com's customer service has proven to be absolutely worthless in my experience.

You saved $4.46? Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch.

I have used both in the past and I like Jason Cromer way better than GMpartdirect. His service is better, he ships right away and like stated earlier, you can actually talk to him (unlike GMpartsdirect).

Thx,
Claude

Another vote for Jason. Just received a new opti, O2 sensors, 1LE elbow, and LT4 KM. Not only did he take extra precautions when packaging everything, but I received my order in a week. He also only charged me $9.00 for shipping . Based off what a dealer would charge, he saved me over $300 w/ no tax--can't beat it! GMPartsDirect may have similar pricing, but I don't think they can touch Jason's customer service.
