Ignition fuse keeps blowing...
Thank god i was at the top of my hill, cause driving home earlier this week my car, as soon as I got to the top of the hill, just shut off. I coasted down my hill and rolled into my driveway. After a day of wondering, fiddling, and pondering i realized to check my fuses, and sure enough, the 10 amp ignition fuse under the hood was blown, and i got excited cause it seemed like a simple fix. I went and bought three more and came back, put it in, started right up, and i was happy again, until like 2 minutes later when the same thing happened. I thought it may have just been a bad fuse, so tried another.... same thing.
Before i go ripping things apart trying to find somewhere that a wire is grounding out or something, i was wondering if anyone had any ideas, or suggestions of what to look for. Also, is it possible that a faulty coil/ignition module/Crank position sensor could cause it to blow.
I already did a quick check of the connections to those three things, and followed the wires for as long as I could and they all seem fine so far.
Sorry for the length, I really am not looking forward to figuring this one out, so ANY help is mucho appreciated. Thanks very much

The three things you mentioned are what's powered by the fuse. You might try seeing if the fuse blows if you just turn the key ON and don't start the car. This would let you unplug each thing to see if you could isolate the problem to one of them.

mighty good idea shoebox, i will try that, too bad my frickin battery died, and drained down to 5 volts (optima) so now it is probably toast, and I was already told they won't warrantee it, and now i have to wait till i get a new one
Thanks again
