TA stranded me on the side of road...
Hey all,
I got a 93 TA that left me hanging lastnight. I was getting on the expressway here in the suburbs of Chicago when I saw a newer Cobra coming up in the lane next to me at the toll booth, quite quickly. I stood on the gas in an effort to stay in front of him after I paid the toll, He blew therew without paying. Anyhow, the car downshifted and took off and then felt a little funny and the Cobra blew by like crazy. This is when I realized that mine had stopped running!
Car cranks fine but won't fire. I can hear the fuel pump running, so that isn't ....I am thinking that it is the OPTI, but have not confirmed. The car has been starting hard when it is cold, but fires right up when it is warmed up.
Anybody have any other ideas, other than the OPTI?
Thanks
Brian

While waiting for the flat bed, I did verify the coil wire was connected. I changed the wires about a year ago to the Taylor's, so I dought that it is the wire. However, when I get off of work I plan on checking for spark at the coil, and doing more t-shooting if needed.
I have tried starting it several times since then, the last time being this morning. But she doesn't want to fire...
We were forcasted for rain this morning, I think maybe she is spoiled and didn't want to get wet.

Spark tester, didn't know there was such a thing. Does it register while you crank and then you look at the result, or do I watch it while I am cranking? I will go to the store on the way home.
