Also, does the cover just snap off and back on? Or will I have to reseal it?

Will any fluid pour out of the opening when I uncap it?

i assuming you're talking about a speed limiter??

if so, then it's electronically controlled and the only way to get it off is to reprogram the comp. if you're talking about something else, ignore this...

no, I'm not talkin about the speed limiter. (I don't have one of those )

It's a part that goes in the drivers side of the transmission, near the end.
