How much HP would some good Long Tube headers give you?
Ok i know that a catback exhaust system doesnt really give you much in the way of power, but what about some good Long Tube headers along with the exhaust? Around how much power would they give you? People say that they notice a big difference with long tubes so i was just wondering...

You might want to do a search as there are literally 100's of posts on this subject. Most would probably say 20-30rwhp. It depends on any other supporting mods.

My car dynoed at 284 rwhp and 321 ft tq. I never got a stock dyno, but Ive heard its around 250-260 stock, but Im not sure. I have jet hot longtubes, orp and a hooker cat back.

My car with the hotcam, CAI, SLP shorties, and a stock catback with a Flowmaster muffler dynoed 294rwhp/310rwtq.
The same car, when we replaced the shorties with the Hooker long tubes and the stock catback with true duals, dynoed 340rwhp/350rwtq.

With edelbrock shorties, stock catback and flowmaster, procharger, the motor made 480 rwhp.
With the addition of flp longtubes, their 2 cats, custom 3" catback, it made 525 rwhp. I definetly noticed a difference too. There was more power at every rpm range.
And the best thing of all, they sound better.
