lt1 LE1 opinions

i was looking at the lt1 LE1 heads with the larger cam ($1200).I got a couple questions.

http://elliottsportworks.com/?page_id=51

What upgrades to the engine do i need to do to accommodate the power these mods will produce so that i don't damage anything?

There are a couple upgrade options available when you buy the heads. Which of these options would you buy?

upgrade to Manley stainless steel 1.94/1.50 valves – Add $100
upgrade to Manley Race Flo 2.00/1.56 valves – Add $250
upgrade to PAC 1218 or 1220 Bee Hive springs set up -Add $150
upgrade to Patriot Gold Extreme spring set up – Add $150

Is $200 expensive to port and polish the stock intake?

i already plan on getting:
K&N CAI
pacesetter LT Headers
pcm tuning
redoing the exhaust
reconditioning the engine block

Re: lt1 LE1 opinions

You will get the best answer from lloyd himself. He is great to talk too and if there is something you are unsure of or don't understand he will gladly help you. I went with his LE2 heads myself and before I started I talked to him for a long time and had the same questions.

May wanna do some hardened pushrods also. I dont have LE1's but I have a set of stock heads that have been ported and polished and a Lunati 540 roller cam. I had to do the pushrods on mine.
