Re: Hesitation/idling problems/engine stutter/ and numerous others?

Ok New guy Here, Bare with me
95 Z28 A4 New Opti, MSD Cap and Rotor, New wires, AC Plugs
Cleaned TB, Cleaned MAF, New Ignition Switch, New opti harness
i put the updated coolant temp sensor in the wp and wired it up Put on an MSD Coil But have not relocated the bracket yet.
Car Runs Better Cold than it did with previous tune up but really not much improvement and Progressively Gets Worse with heat, I changed to stock style wires because with MSD 8.5mm wires on the pass side they were arcing out big time, when you rapidly open the throttle it basically stumbles and pop back through the intake like a timing issue so i started researching the interweb and found an unbelievable amount of people with the same issue
Mine when it warms up the coil wire actually starts arcing around the coil post to the water pump, i replaced the ignition switch because voltage on crank would drop to 6-7 volts at the coil-pink wire
I find it so odd that these cars when new ran awesome, we owned 4 between 93-96 and all were great, now before i spend a bunch of money i don't have does anyone know how/why and the fix?
all the Moltech injectors check at 12.3/12.5 ohm
is the tps in flood mode?
is the icm done?
FPR or Fuel Pump?
Knock Retard?
Thought i'd start here before more diagnosis

D.S.R.E.:

It's generally best to start a new thread of your own. It gets confusing when you tag a new problem onto someone else's thread, and no one can keep track of who's thread is being responded to.

I was having some of the same issues so i figured on something as common as the Z28 hesitation problem is i didn't want to start a new thread and clutter up the board but its all good i fixed mine, The previous owner installed the MAF Backwards when he installed the K&N setup LOL

Closing the thread for me. Updating just for info: New WP, new front seals and pan gasket, new hoses, rewired some things, CMS opti, tr55 plugs, and cleaned up well. Motor runs smooth with no shuddering while driving, no fluctuating rpm's, no hesitation, no leaks of any kind. I'll also keep posted with info on how the CMS opti holds up. Pretty happy with the outcome so far.
