Got car back from head/cam swap....now wont stay running
I got my car back today from Maximum Tuning, they did my cam and heads. The whole way home, idle was crappy, like almost about to stall, only stalled once though. Got home, about 10 minutes later wanted to go get some burger king, but i could NOT get the car to stay running for anything...What should I do.
CUSTOM heads, like LE 2 heads
Comp Cam 305
1.6 roller rockers
hydraulic lifters
new timing chain
all new gaskets
manley valves
isky springs
PCM for less tune
58MM throttle body
new wires
new plugs
WHATS HAPPENING?

drive it around for a while, could just be that the pcm is learning the new setup. i know mine takes a while to get back to ok driveability when the pcm or fuse is unhooked
also maybe the rocker arms are adjusted too tight. that can also cause the motor to stall out and die
2 ideas to ponder on...
what is your idles speed set at? A4 or M6?

It could be one of these problems: Check to make sure there are no leaks AFTER the MAF to the throttle body. Many times, the elbow is not put on correctly and folded under on the bottom. Make sure ;your vacuum tube is connected from the intake manifold to the brake booster. Also check that hose for splits on the ends. Check your pcv hose on the other side and its connections and hose ends. It could be that the lash is set too tight but you won't know that until the valve covers are removed to check. On the back of the intake, your egr is bolted there. Check the vacuum line coming off of it. You really need to check for a vacuum leak somewhere. You can spray ether around different areas of the engine and manifold to see if there is a change in idle speeds. If there is, then you have found your leak. Lastly, make sure your butterflies in the tb are closing and not getting hung up. Use some carb cleaner and spray it around those things and open them up manually and spray on the inside.
