Good Fuel Pump & internal or external

I have the tank out and while I'm here I'm gonig to replace the fuel pump. I need to know a good pump that won't break the wallet.

Should I get a:
internal fuel pump or
external fuel pump.

I am not running nitrous right now but I may in the future. So I would like to account for that.

the car is modded, heads cam car, with all the bolt-ons. like to handle motor 600+hp. again that number is in the futer with spray. No superchargers or turbo's.

I will be putting the tank back in, in a week or two so I need to act fairly fast.

thanks for the reply's

The Racetronix setup with the Walbro pump (in-tank) is a good choice for your application. I don't have any fuel issues running the Walbro and I have 580 rwhp with stock fuel lines.

I second this. I recently replaced my stock intank and external T-rex with the Racetronix/Walbro setup and highly recommend it. Excellant fit and probably the best "drop-in solution" available. Of course, it'd be nice if they included some instructions...
