gmmg with LTs and cats

hello,

i know this is like my millionth post with "such and such + LTs and cats" but i'm just trying to get an idea as to what it sounds like. right now it's between corsa and gmmg. i have a chance to get a nice deal on a corsa system, but so far all i've heard are these systems on LS1s. the corsa sounded i must admit UNREAL, which means it could sound that much better on the LT1 anyone have this GMMG setup on their car? thanks for the help again.

gmmg would sound great, especially on an LT1

Re: gmmg with LTs and cats

I bought the gmmg exhaust a little while ago and i am deciding wether to fab it up as a custom setup or not. I have jet-hot lt's and from there i am going to dual DMH e-cutouts. But from there i cant decide what i want to do. Here are the options i am considering:

1) Lt's -> e-cutout's -> x-pipe -> cut the gmmg where the 3" meets the dual 2.5" pipes so that it is a custom dual setup through gmmg chambered mufflers.

2) Lt's -> e-cutout's -> y-pipe to gmmg exhaust

I think the first idea will sound pretty bad a$$ and still be able to give minimal performance losses but if i cut the gmmg all up, and decide i want to go a different route, it will be kind of hard to sell it for anywhere near what i paid for it, i.e. they are not cheap. So what do you guys think. Someone needs to post a sound clip of an Lt-1 with GMMG.

Brandon

P.S.- i am going with a 236/242 .608/.576 111LSA on a 355 build up with a set of pretty nice Cmotors Heads, so no matter what exhaust i choose i still think its gonna sound pretty nice

Go with the GMMG! I love the way mine sounds and its freaking LOUD at WOT. I haven't come across a car on the street that is louder than mine at WOT. No drone while cruising either.

If you go to the Corsa web site, they have an LT-1 sound clip on there it sounds pretty mean
