Power brakes wont work w/ cc305 ?? ( so i was told)

is this true? comp cams tells me that i have to put in one of their special parts to store up vaccum, because of the duration, so the power brakes will work. Is this true or are they trying to get an extra $50.00 out of me? Jason

Yeah, it sounded really fishy to me. The only reason that I didn't buy it is that I have been hangin around me message board for a lil while now and I have never ever seen anything about that. Those jerks, just wantin to make the extra buck.

I have a friend with the CC306. He has no brake problems either.

cc305

I'm running the CC305 and don't even have the vacuum canister hooked up. My brakes and every other vacuum actuated device, (Wipers, HVAC Vents), work perfectly.

Thanks for the input, I didn't want to just chance it though because brakes are definately an essential part for a fast car. I didn't want to be driving down the road and all of a sudden they don't work anymore. But it woulded like total BS to me. I can't believe that make up crap like that.
