fixed rear brake squeak

today i replaced the front and rear brake pads and when i put in the pads i made sure to use disc brake quiet on the backs of the pads and well now i have nice fresh brakes and it also cleared up the squeaking under light braking and going over bumps. every single bump would make the car squeak before this.

i know lots of people have squeaking problems and this fixed it. seems like the disc brake quiet really works. give it a try.

Re: fixed rear brake squeak

when i changed my brakes..i notice there was a small H shaped peice of spring steel that went between the bottom of my pads..i tossed it thinking ..ok a rusty junk spare part..haha..i think it is actually used to keep a slight bit of tension on the pads to keep them from squeeking...now i wish i had them back in...kinda hard to cruz for chicks when your roll'n along real slow.. squeek...squeek..squeek..squeek...
