a few questions about about long tubes

i just bought some pacesetter long tubes for my 97 t/a. how hard will they be to install? we will be doing it at a freinds shop so getting the car up high enough wont be a problem. also how bad will it be to run open headers for awhile? will it slow the car down from not having enough backpressure or will i see some gains? if so how much of a gain will they make mph and et wise

open headers is gonna be painfully loud!!

you will probably notice some drop in low end...
