Elminating the speed limiter

Is there a way to eliminate my top speed limiter on my 95 z without pcm programming? i got the jet chip power module, thinking that it would do that, but lo and behold....it doesn't. i see that jet chip also has the scu 2000 but that is for the 96-up. anyone know a way?

Re: Elminating the speed limiter

yep i have the JET as well and no there is no way to do it without a ECU reprogramming. It only costs $50 but i am hesitating to remove it because i plan on modding and i know i will have the urge to test its top speed and from what i have heard these cars aren't made to go 170+
