anyone run these or any true duals on here? car is a h/c 383. will this be way to loud and drone bad. also car is going to be lowered 1.5 to 2'' soon. how would this compare to longtubes ory and slp or borla?

Re: EBAY true duals
What kind of exhaust are you running - stock manifolds or headers?
I just don't think you are going to find anyone with an LT1 running this system.
I run a pair of Borla XR1's with straight pipes and dumps. Sound is not unbearable on the street.

No worse than the previous system, which was a Mufflex 4" catback, with a Flowmaster 30-series 4" in/4" out muffler. The Flow had a heavy resonance at about 2,500 RPM.
Interesting thing... no real HP difference between the 4" catback and the 3" duals, dyno proven.

Re: EBAY true duals
lontubes, y pipe and flowmaster catback was on the car, selling the flowmaster catback, so today i just put a bullet muffler right on the y pipe with a turn down. sound great when on it but to loud inside the car for just driving around. think i'm going to do a slp loud mouth or magnaflow with a cut out after the y pipe.
