Does this seem like a decent all motor cam? 396
This cam would be going in my 396 or maybe staying in my 355. Do you think it would work well with my 396 if I decided to put it in?
396 has AFR190's ported, FLP's.
Cam is a solid roller and here are the specs; I think it's a NuTek cam...
ivo 18 ivc 50
evo 61 evc 13
intake lift .577 exhaust lift .583
here are the numbers off the cam: cs4875 4876 sr110
Cam ran 11.40's on the motor in a 355. Is it large enough to be in the 396? I kind of did some math and figure a 396 on the motor should be around 500 hp and a little over 500 torque; am I in line?

The cam is a Comp XE Street Roller cam...
248/255 .614/.621 (w/ 1.6's) on a 110LSA
Depends on what the motor is going to be used for and with.
How did you figure out the 500/500?

Friend has a book that allows you to wear out your calculator to figure close flywheel numbers. I think you can use a dyno simulation program to get numbers close also.
Is this cam better suited for the 355 or would it be decent in the 396? I figure it'll be a little more tame in the 396...
