disconnect exhuast after cats? help or hurt 1/4
okay i posted this in general but i think you guys might have a better answer for me -
im going to track again tonight - dont have my catback on and my e-cutout didnt make it in time - question is if i disconnect my exhuast before the muffler would i see an improvement -aka running a cutout -
mods ill be running with are SLP shorty headers - K&N FIPK - TB bypass - and programming -
ive been reading and either people say it will hurt or help - whats ur opinions on this?

It could help and hurt. I know that running open headers will cause some retarding from all the exhaust noise and vibration, but it's so far back in your cause that i'm not sure. Give it a try and see what happens.

I just cut my flowmaster off behind hte axel. Didnt see to hurt low end but helped the top end. I would say it will help. I dont have times to prove it, just what i feel.
