Just put the flywheel back on with a few bolts then wedge it..
OR if the oil pan is off wedge a piece of hardwood etc on a rod throw to keep the crank from turning..

Ok, think i got it figured out. I threaded the bolts back into where the flywheel goes and got a rachet to stay while I am able to turn the middle bolt that is supposed to remove the hub and pulley.
This is what I am doing.
I stuck a 4" bolt into the middle of the crankshaft snout so it will hit the crank. I then took 3 header bolts and put them through the hub tool, the pulley, and threaded them into the hub. I then took the long bolt that came with the hub puller and threaded it into the tool, put it in the middle hole where the camshaft is and use this long bolt to push against the 4" bolt so it will push the hub assembly off.
Is this the correct method to remove the hub and pulley assembly? I just want to make sure, because its getting to be a mother to turn that damn bolt in the center and I dont wanna break anything. Btw, I am getting a new crankshaft. So if I mess that up I dont really care.
Thanks again guys!

Ok, got the pulley removed. Schucks rents 5" and 6" gear pullers. I removed the pulley, now I just need to get a new hub puller. Mine broke. Luckily its a craftsman. I am going to see if schucks rents the hub puller too.
Thanks guys.
Amazing what the right tool does.

damn ...how did you break it? make sure you have a long bolt sticking pretty far out of the crank.get one thats too long but threads into the threads or what i did was took a 1/4 inch ratchet extention and set it in there just be carefull not to mangle any threads,
