cooling fans not coming on
hey guys, I recently got my car out of storage and had it tuned. I drove it a couple of times earlier this week but not long enough for it to get very warm. When I was driving it tonight it got to just under 240 degrees and the fans didn't come on. When I had it tuned last week I heard him messing with the fans on his computer. When I jump the 5th and 6th pins on the obd connector the fans run. What are the chances that he accidentally turned them off? Is my temp gauge just off a bit? What else should I be looking for?
Thanks

Re: cooling fans not coming on
Something is off, maybe the cluster gauge or maybe the pcm temp sensor in the water pump. Jumping pins A and B puts the pcm into field service mode which turn on the fans and some other things as well. So the wiring and pcm are ok.
Or maybe the "tuning" raised the fan temps?

Just for reference, for early model year 94's, the first fan should come on at 226*F, and the second fan at 235*F. Early models have two fan relays in the under hood box.
If you have a late model year 94, with three relays, both fans come on low speed at 226*F, and move to high speed at 235*F.
