Re: cooling fans

In 94, you could have early fans (2 relays, no high/low speed) or late fans (3 relays, w/low/high speed).

If you have early fans, only the left one comes on at the low temp threshold and the right fan is added when it reaches the high temp threshold. Both run at high speed.

oh ok thank u so my set up is the the 2 relay set up then? i remember the other 94 i had 2 yrs ago had the 3 relay setup and all 3 relays where in the fuse box. The 94 i currently have has only 2 relays,so relay #3 is open n i dont need to worry with that relay spot?

Re: cooling fans

Check your VIN. A car produced early in the model year is more likely to have the 2 relay "early production" setup.

That would be correct, if an early production 94. If both your fans work (secondary fan comes on at high temp threshold), then you are good.
