can you have an slp cold air intake and a funtional ram air both on your LT1 at the same time?

If by SLP you mean the factory SS airbox with the SS hood then yes-

I suppose you could somehow fabricate an intake setup with either a Harwood hood or the ultra Z hood with the LS1 intake setup.

A normal CAI you can not use as a "Ram air" setup.

The Ultra Z hood can be used with a WS6 style airbox/filter to be made into a ram-air setup; or the stock SS ram-air setup could be used.

I have a 1995 z28 with a factory slp package (which includes a cold air intake). I was looking at a Harwood 2.5" cowl hood with functional ram air. So I was wondering, since the ram air filters straight into the airbox, if the ram air replaces my air intake? Or if I could have both the cold air intake AND the functional ram air on the car at the same time?

Please provide a link to that hood you're thinking of.

The ONLY ram-air hoods that I'm aware of for a 4th gen Z are the 2 that were listed prior. (Ultra Z & SLP SS).

And you can not have both a functional Ram Air and CAI installed on the car.
