Question Cloyes Double Roller Timing Set?

I have a 94' camaro Lt1 and was making sure this would work...also i have an EWP, and the vented optispark...no part number on the timing set though...here are the numbers from the gears (cam gear, 211954, s-154A, 2-05 164B) (crank gear, 7-05 101BA)

I converted to a vented opti and newer timing chain cover when I installed the double row chain. Dont forget to check the clearance between chain and cover. I did'nt have an issue but I spoke with others that did. Clearance the part as needed. I went with a Summit EWP. No issues in almost two years of street driving and MANY track passes.

The Cloyes 9-3145 double roller set is for 1987-up roller blocks, and yes it will fit an LT1 camshaft.

It will fit a 95 and up camshaft. The 93/94 cam pin is too short. You are going to have to upgrade to the 95 opti, timing cover, opti harness, 95 type camshaft that will work with the 95 opti.

I assumed he had made those upgrades when he said in his initial post the he had a vented opti. Also, if he just ordered a new LTx camshaft, it will have the longer pin.
