car shuts down while driving. Starts again after 3 minutes
New ICM,coil,fuel pump,FPR,5 month old Opti.
I have been trying to find out why would my car while driving just bog out and die.. seems like it runs rough then dies.. will crank and start after 3 minutes then do it again.
Any ideas?

Seems to do it while warm. No codes. Maybe there was one stored, but I had to replace my battery today.. so no codes are stored now.. but when this happens again, i hope one does get stored, and hopefully not a low res or high res code... sheesh...

I will carry a timing light and fuel pressure guage with me in the event this does happen.. the thing is.. I can restart after 3 minutes or so...
Can I just drive around for a few days with the gauge on shrader valve and be ok? Also, how would I check for fire? I will be by myself when it shuts down so I would have to put on the inductive lead and press the trigger on the timing light as i crank...
is there some sort of gauge pod I could buy that could monitor ignition on my plugs.. maybe #1.. so I can have all this feedback in the cabin while I am cranking away on the engine on the side of a busy freeway? Houston, Texas

New pump, new FPR and filter...
Even after all of this, i do still experience hard starting... damn it man..... I am so frustrated....
5 month old Opti, and 2 week old ICM and coil...
I do need new wires and plugs.. I am just not looking forward to the job..
I did mist the hell outta the engine bay tonight with the garge lights off trying to look for spark arch.. although I have never been successfull in seeing this phenonamon occur... I am sure i would see some sort of yellow bluish light???
I replaced the battery today also.. as the shop told me it was bad.. but the alternator tested good...
When my cars dies.. I still have electricity to the cabin and light and dash... they do dim though but i suspect it is becasue the alternator is not running pushing the 14 volts..
Even after replacing the entire fuel system minus lines... I still have a hard start condition.. it takes about 7 - 8 seconds to start the engine... I am really thinking it is ignition related..
i did have a problem with the pressure bleeding off when I turn the key to the ON position.. but that was a bad return line in the pump.. replaced that.. now it holds stead after the twist of the key...
Also seems that I am running rough as well... while my engine idles, or when I am at a stop light, i get the occasional bump in the idle.. i can feel it..
Please help me..
