really? even if I dont have my heads milled? I also stil have stock valves and Felpro gaskets, nothing that would require a shorter pushrod...?

Just the way the geometry with the higher ratio rockers and a cam works out. I needed a .05 shorter pushrod with 1.6s, 1.7s would be even more pronouced of a difference

You should always check.
Just because something is a "bolt on" doesn't mean everything is going to work out just right. Not a slap to you dmoor, just that this comes up quite often around here.
So, check the geometry. If you don't know how, do a search on Google. At the very least buy the little plastic rocker-arm looking checker to see where you're at.

thats what im saying. some may say "go with a bigger lift cam" I just want to push the smaller lift cams with larger rockers. someone on ls1tech had the exact same cam with 1.7 rockers on the exhaust side only...
