95 z28 Randomly dies and wont crank
I have a 95 camaro z28 that mechanically is sound. It runs flawlessly and all the sudden it will die and won't crank back. I have replaced Coil, Distributor, ICM, Wires, Plugs, Injectors, Fuel Pump. Its throwing a CODE 41 EST check engine light. Also throws a code 74 as well. I have no idea now really. Help?

Always use Shoebox's LT1-specific code list:
http://shbox.com/1/Dtcs.htm
As you can see, DTC 41 indicates a failure related to the ICM. Have you checked the harness connectors/wiring? Is the ground on the head stud at the ICM bracket sound - loose, dirty, corroded, strap wires broken?
DTC 74 relates to the traction control system. Does your car have TCS (RPO "NW9")?
I don't have the 95 shop manual, but on a 94 both the coil/ICM circuits and the TCS power supply come from fuse #11 in the under hood box. Might indicate a wiring problem related to that fuse, between the fuse and the electrical loads.

Now I notice you posted this problem more than a month ago, and did not follow up on that thread. Generally, not a good idea to post a problem a second time, when people have already responded to the first post.

Re: 95 z28 Randomly dies and wont crank
I have since relocated and rewired the ground points and everything is sound. I literally just now pulled the distributor pigtail connector out and theres a nice green corrosion in just one of the terminals.. the connector has been long broke and I just now decided to pull it out and look. And as far as not replying to the last post, I have had issues in these past months and havent been able to work on the car and aint had time to get back on. Anyways all is fine there. Back to the issue, this morning it crunk straight up and cut immediately back off. I still assume that the connector is causing all of these issues

Replacement short Opti wiring harness is available:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/141496915558?lpid=82&chn=ps
If it is the connector, it would set either DTC 16 (low res cam position sensor signal failure) and/or DTC 36 (high res signal failure).
DTC 16 does NOT turn on the SES light, and shuts down the fuel pump and injectors.

Re: 95 z28 Randomly dies and wont crank
It may have that code ill have to check. It never actually cut the check engine light on itself. I had to hook up my scan tool to check for all that. I do know that harness will cause something like that. Hopefullu after the new harness gets here it will fix the issue
