Ok so my buddy has a 95 trans am ws6 with the LT1, the car will start run for a few min, sometimes longer if you give it gas and then it will die. When it dies we try to restart the car and it doesnt start. Let it sit for a while it will start up again. The alternator is new, the battery is new, and the fuel filter is new. What are we missing? We need some insite so we can solve this problem. Please help us out

Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and be sure that the pump is maintaining pressure after the initial fire-up. If the pressure drops as the car dies, the pump is suspect.
The security light is not on, and it has gas. We asked another opinion and they said it was prob the cam sensor so we are gonna look into that.
As suggested earlier, did you get a fuel gauge on it yet? Test the ICM, coil, and do the spark test via shbox.com.

im in the same pickle. my 97 SS starts(sometimes) and then dies out, and wont start. the 1st time it happened i got it started like 5 minutes later. the second timeit happaned(today) i moved the car and shut it down, went to move it back a while later, no start. still wont start for me. kinda pissing me off now.
let me know if you guys figure out your problem.

thats what im thinkin is worng with mine too. if its not a hard job i can use the one from my 96 SS thats just sittin in my garage. but its prob not that easy.

I am having the same issue with my 95 z28. runs and drives fine then its almost like someone turned the key off. then wont start for a little while after. doesnt misfire or shutter what so ever idles perfect and no check engine light. this car seems to be a perfectly good running vehicle until it just shuts off.

i have spark on all 8 cylinders
im loosing my mind and a lot of money not being able to figure this out
