what kind of plugs were used? and yes 6.x sec sounds about right. M6 cars were about the mid to low 5.x sec range. Given you might have not flashed the converter, traction, transmission condition, hot/cold, tires, stuff in the car. I would say 6 something on a bone stock 20yr old car is about right. Start the bolt ons.

The TR 55's are a great plug that you chose.I would run mine before for about 5000 mi. or so.Some members years ago used to run them all the way up to 12,000mi or so,but being non-plats,I changed them more often. The cheaper wires may work for a while, but they are not insulated as good as OEM or after market wires. My old combo was MSD 8mm wires but the coil wire kept slipping off so I used an AC delco coil wire and the car ran great.(Firebird Formula).Hope this helps.My02.Please gap your plugs at 50 not 60 like the specs at Orielly's says.

Re: 94 z28 stock 0-60 ??

Their wires seem ok but I don't trust anybody but ac delco for the coil.I ordered the accel coil and 10 minutes after install I took the car on the on ramp for the freeway and blew it up.Nothing like being stranded on the side of the road in Los Angeles while it's hotter than hell outside with semi's and cars passing you by at 70 mph or more 5 feet from you waiting for a tow truck to come. Some members have had great luck with after market coils but never again here.I think Gm built a pretty good system so I try to stay GM.My02 .Hope this helps.

your tune up is ok, the life of the plugs versus platinum or iridium is going to be like stated above about short.

Let us know how the bolts ons start treating you
