94 ltl heater hose connection
Can the smaller hose that feeds the throttle body on the upper hose be disconnected for a small amount of time. I need to splice the hose for a leak and have to travel fo sho! I can splice the main part of the hose but cannot include the tee for the smaller hose until the new ones arrive? Thanks for all the help!

Obviously you can't leave it open, but you could do the throttle body bypass if that might help. It is not clear where your trouble spot is. You could always splice the hose with a hose barb (union) if it is in a straight place.

Re: 94 ltl heater hose connection
The trouble spot is on the upper heater hose between the bleeder valve and it's termination point. If I cut out the bleeder valve I will also lose the tee that feeds the throttle body. It is too close to the metal compression band to splice out the leak spot. I think I may have the handle on this as the 95 has a different hose with the TB hose connected. By using this radiator hose I can splice the heater hose but will lose the bleeder valve.
Well after some research I wound up on the other site. I did not know these fittings could be reused by removing the factory clamp! Thanks for the post Shoebox!
Looks like all I need is a clamp as the hole is beside this clamp to the Elbow!
