Does anyone have any suggestions for a reputable mail order PCM tune?
Has anyone ever dealt with Brian Herter from PCM for less? Can't find a
phone #. Open for any other ideas. Thanks

I'm knee deep into putting an LT1 into a completely stripped 83 Camaro. What was your wiring like? I know you can't detail all of that here, but what was your overall process? Did you buy a complete harness?

As far as a PCM tune, my plan is to get one from PCM-for-less and then find a tuner with a dyno.

Former owner claimed it is a Painless Harness. I think he mixed and matched a lot. I had to sort out a charging issue and also fan control switch.
I finally got it all working with the help of a 9495 free scan that Gary Doug
recommended. I also sent my computer out to PCM for less.

Thanks for the comeback. I heard Painless is quite expensive. But, I'll look more into it. Mine is probably unique. I want to be able to use my Camaro Hvac and gauges.
