my 98 Camaro has new water pump and thermostat and im not getting any heat in car runs at 230 at idle and tries to go to 260 driving lines hot as fire on driver side and warm on passenger side any ideas on how to fix

You said that you burped the system and mentioned the radiator cap. You never mentioned the air bleeds. I know my 94 has two one on a heater hose on pass. Side and the other on the thermostat housing this one is not in plain sight. I have had similar problems with other GM vehicles caused by not properly bleeding the system.

My car is doing the samething. It heats up then drops, heats up then drops. It was running perfectly fine until it started heating up yesterday. Tried bleeding the system, replaced the thermo and still doing the samething. 😒�

Gotta use those bleed screws. both of them should have steady coolant flow no air. cars with air pockets will heat up
