Tune up Price Opinion
I just talked to a buddy of mine who used to work at a Chevy dealership now has his own place.Sat.,were gonna tune up my 2000 Z-28 and for an even $250.00 for gm approved plugs, wires, and a fuel filter, and he's gonna clean out the mass air flow sensor also. Good deal??

That is roughly 2.5hrs labor, and close to $100 in parts if using regular plugs. That's a good deal. I recommend GM wires and copper resistor AC Delco plugs (or NGK). Gap them to .040" If he quoted you the iridium plugs for that price, it's an even better deal!
The same services at a GM dealer would likely run a little over $350.
rod442 - rv93 is probably talking about the updated plugs GM recommends for these engines, which are iridium AC Delco plugs, and are somewhat expensive.
