T56 question

I replaced my clutch about 3 months ago, and it seems like my clutch is slipping again. It does it on low RPM's, it goes up then down then grips. The transmission will be getting dropped in the next week to change out synchro's. What is wrong now?!?!?! This tranny is giving me hell, I've already spend about $5oo on it, what do I do?

What are you using for your clutch hydraulic system? I can't tell by your profile so this may not apply - but you should consider using the latest revision of GM's slave cylinder in conjunction with a line-drilled master cylinder.

I would contact David @ SPEC as well.

HTH...

I do not know how much hp i am pulling. My ride is pretty much stock, (cut-out,lid,fast toys cold-air,). The clutch is pretty much new so I hope its nothing big. My tranny will be getting dropped today or tomorrow for a synchro swap. We'll find out there. Thank you all, I will call SPEC today...

The same thing happened to me in my '94 Z, several months after I put in a new clutch, the pressure plate bolts worked themselves loose and I had to go in there all over again and torque them.

Yeah, many people have been telling me that, let's just hope that is it. I need the car to be ready in time for the SLP races up Los Angeles. I will b traveling with my team up there, I just hope the car makes the trip. I hear it is F-body heaven.
Well the tranny is coming down today..
