Need the sputtering to stop! please HELP

i have a 2000 camaro z28 and i have been stumped. my car has been sputtering and bogging out on me. i have the codes low fuel pressure circuit, knock sensor, sensor 2 bank 2 and sensor 2 bank 1. i have changed my fuel filter and that took care of the low fuel pressure circuit. but th eother three codes are still showing up. i have been told many possibilities. i dont have any idea what could be wrong so please help me figure this out so i dont have to sell my car lol

By the way can i get rid of my cats? i have a 3" flowmaster all the way through. i like the way it sounds without the cats but i dont know if it will ruin anything or just set off my check engine light.

Please help me out
thanks

Re: Need the sputtering to stop! please HELP

Deleting the cats will only set the CEL it won't affect performance.

Check for vacuum leaks, swap the O2 sensors and see if the code follows.

Re: Need the sputtering to stop! please HELP

So you had some faulty knock sensor/bad connection and your car might have been pulling some timing. Glad you got it fixed. Reset the PCM and see if the codes come back just to be sure.

Angry Re: Need the sputtering to stop! please HELP

so i did everything and the sputtering stopped but now it is bogging itself out like its choking up. i am throwing 9 codes both o2 sensors after the cats low and high imput circuits for my mass air flow sensor, egr sensor low circuit and both my knock sensors are being thrown. and both cats threshold low. so i have 2 brand new knock sensors in not even a month old new fuel pump and filter went back to factory settings changed back to factory air filter got rid of the cold air intake, cleaned my mass air flow sensor, it does have a new 3 inch exhaust all the way through. it is running wayy to rich, shooting flames out the back and running like it wants to go to the junk yard lol i need some help could it just need a tune up? or what??? please help again!

Try swapping someone with a good MAF and see if the problem goes away. Don;t buy a new one unless you know yours is bad.

Re: Need the sputtering to stop! please HELP

okay i will try that. do you have any other thoughts of what it could be?i mean it is everything that has to do with the air flow and exhaust. i know the exhaust is because i took the cats off though. but i guess im just super stumped though lol

Re: Need the sputtering to stop! please HELP

If you actually removed the cats, and you have a leak right by the O2 sensor, it could cause that too.

Re: Need the sputtering to stop! please HELP

okay so that is another possibility then.... i mean could it be my o2 sensors causing all of this? so if i were to get those o2 spacers which is exactly like the dummy sensors it could possibly fix it right right? because this could all be caused from the o2 sensors making it all run to rich then in return would trip my knock sensors andall that.... cuz im getting horrible gas milage also like right around the 10-12 range lol or am i totally off track and not have a clue what im talking about lol

Re: Need the sputtering to stop! please HELP

I don't know what you mean by tune-up? Plugs and wires? Not much else you can tune up. A cracked plug could cause it to do that kind of stuff too. if you had the headers off recent;y I have seen them crack during installation of the header. Doubt it is a wire unless they are just not seated properly. Make sure they all click twice when seating to the coilpack.

I think you have leaks in your exhaust causing your problems. That would be where I would try first. Also, get those codes blocked for EGR, 2nd O2's, and anything else you pulled off like AIR.
