McLeod Rev-Lok II Help

Well I was reunited with my Z28 for the first time in a few months this past weekend with its newly installed McLeod Rev-Lok II clutch, pressure plate, and McLeod steel flywheel (was installed early this year but haven't driven it since). Anyway my only problem is attempting to leave slowly from a stop. Launching my car is no problem with this clutch but anything less than ~2500 rpm's and trying to let the clutch out smoothly results in high pitched squealing from the clutch. When I give it a tad more power and let out quicker I usually end up rippin a$$ spinning the tires or get some shuttering as the clutch engages roughly. I know a few you guys out there have the identical setup and was wandering how you guys get going from a stop slowly .. I do have the necesarry GM updated clutch hydraulics.
