Keep in mind if you need to stay emissions compliant. Any LS6 intake from a wrecking yard (01-02 fbody, vette, etc) will not have fittings for the EGR. And to modify the intake it yourself (answering the above post) is not advisable due to the risk of leaks, IMO (though I guess it could be done).
I went with an SLP unit that was prefitted for EGR myself.
