Question Induction mods

Hello all. I have a '01 Z28 with a 6 speed manual. I've just put in a Magnaflow cat back system (which I love) and I'm looking some induction modifications and had a few questions:

1) Airbox/lid: Has anyone ever installed the Stealth High-flow airbox? Any good? Is it worth getting the whole new airbox instead of just the lid, maybe something like the Whisper high-flow lid? Anyone have any preferences? (Saw both of them on www.ls1speed.com) Or should I throw out the whole thing and just get a K&N FIPK?

2) MAF: Ok, what's the deal with these damn things? Why the massive difference in price? SLP sells one for about $150 but Granatelli's is about $290! Anyone have any stories about either of them, or a different one they like?

3) Throttle body: Is it really worth changing the throttle body if you're not going to change the intake manifold?

Well, thanks in advance and sorry if any these questions were extraordinarily stupid.

Great. Thanks! Any preferences between the SLP lid and the Whisper lid? The Whisper lid claims more HP.

Also, has anyone ever run into problems with emissions testing after making inductions mods? More air through the MAF would result in more fuel (to keep it from running to lean) which means more exhaust? That sounds right, doesn't it? I just don't want the headache of all that.

For the TB, I imagine I'd have to send mine out to get polished. How long does that usually take. This is my only car. Anyway, thanks again for the reply.

My understanding (which may or may not be correct) is that porting the MAF will allow more flow at maximum throttle but at idle you shouldn't see any difference. The O2 sesnsors are what control how rich the A/F ratio is.

On my Z i had, i put a Stealth box on it, its a whole new assembly and requires a bigger filter but does flow a bit more air, as for the MAF i just descreened my stock one, and for the throttle body i just got it ported and i like it.
