I am saving up for one currently. In about 6 months I can pay cash for one. It will be a 98 WS6, Black/Black, 6-Speed, Loaded, T-Tops. I have already found several on AutoTrader. If you find them upwards of 100K miles they should be 10-12k, 15k if the miles are lower.

I just bought a 1999 Z28 M6, fully loaded with 14,800 miles on it for $15,500
so I thought that was a decent deal.

For what it's worth ....

I paid $26,000 at a dealer for a 2001 WS6, fully loaded.

There's a guy in Texas selling a 2001 Black WS6, just like mine, on eBay. Last I saw it was only $22,000.

I think that's a very good deal considering the car is about 3 yrs old and only has slightly under 15K miles on it! The previous owner rarely drove that car

Cool

I bought my '98 Z fully loaded (except leather) for $14k with 38,000 miles.I don't think the gap is very big now,you just have to look around.

Re: How long Will LS-1 TAs hold their value?

They seem to be getting lower in price now if you are still looking for one.

I have 82,000 one my 1998 Trans Am 6 speed and I would not tkae less than $10,000 for it.

I see them sell for less quite frequently.

He must have decided against the LS1 in the 12 years since he posted. This was his signature in 2008 when he last posted - selling off the parts from his LT1's:

94 Red Z28 A4 383 LT-4 3500 yank XE 230/236 lots of fun. - Sold
94 green Z - Totaled
06 Goat - Sold
new toy has 145 HP. and really flies, literally!
