Exhaust tones

Right now i have long tube headers with a offroad y-pipe , then my stock slp exhaust that came on my SS, i love the raspyness that is what i want but its only loud when im giving it gas, so i want to get a new catback system but i watn to keep the raspyness, im trying to steer away from the typical deep throat sound of most catbacks, what catback do yall suggest that will keep my exhaust raspy and not make it deep and make it louder at idle etc..

I have a Magnaflow catback, and I can tell you that it definately has that deep sound to it. The SLP loudmouth or Borla may be what you're looking for. Check out http://www.ftforce.com/listen_f-body.html They sound clips from a few different systems. It's not the same, but it will help you get a better idea.
