Re: cold mornings...

List what you have done to you car. Off the top of my head it could be a million problems but start simple. If its been awhile since you have done the basics(filters, fluids, plugs, belts etc) that would be a good place to start and could solve a few issues, prevent more or at least narrow it down). If you have upgraded your intake and/or exhaust, mixed with cold air you can end up running too lean to the point where it will die until the engine warms up enough to get warm enough air to level out the mixture.

Re: cold mornings...

I bought the car from the dealership. As far as I know it does have a cold air intake, exhaust and maybe a cam. My engine light turned on finally and got it checked out and it may be the o2 sensors which I will he replacing soon. Also, I don't know if there was ever a tune up done which I will also be doing. I'm thinking since the air is so thin where I live and with the cold air making it thinner it may just be an imbalance in air and fuel mixture because of the sensors.

Re: cold mornings...

Not sure how many miles you have on you car but a quick (10 min) thing to do is pop off you air intake hose and spray your Mass Air Flow Sensor out. The stuff costs a couple bucks at your local parts store and helped me out quite a bit. I am also knocking on the door of 180k so depending on where you are at for mileage it might not matter.
