Changes to the Z28 / 98 and up

What changes were made to the Z28 from 1998 and newer? Interior? Exterior? Drivetrain?

Thank you...

98 and 99 had the 5 spoke wheels, in 2000 they switched to the current 10 spoke wheels. In 2001 and 02 they got an LS6 intake, a slightly stronger cam and no EGR. Interior has stayed the same and really depends on options.

Thank you very much.. I guess the wheels are easy to change if that's what you like. How much power did the other options add? Sounds like you could update those as well if needed...

99 the switched over to slightly smaller fuel injectors. I think the valve covers bolt on differently than 98.

2000 I believe the went to cast iron exaust manifolds

Umm, I think in late 2001, 2002 all LS1's get the LS6 clutch and pressure plate, which is a tad stronger. This is now the stock replacement for all LS1's..

The 2001's have a bit more low end tq, and supposdily because of the ls6 intake, they keep the same peak hp..

10% of 2001 and 25% of 2002 have the LS6 blocks.... which evacuate downstroke air to adjacent chambers.
