cat delete or high flow

Hey new to the ls1 just bought an 01 z28 auto 83k bone stock except for the K&N filter, getting the unpleasant rotten egg smell so I guess the exhaust is the first mod on my list. Should I delete the cats or replace them live in mi no emission tests and I daily drive almost 100 miles a day to work and back

Michigan? Hell yea get rid of them! Get a nice set of long tubes and a good cat back. If you are worried about sound, try the dynomax muffler that has the flapper valve.
